Merry Christmas!

Hello Stampers and Fellow Crafters!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.  It's been quite a while since I last posted, been super busy with my Craft Fair and my Holiday Baking.  Today I wanted to my all the projects, they were so much fun to make!

First my Doggie Treats, I made them for Large, Medium and Small dogs.

 Couldn't forget the Kitty's!

I sold all but a few of my Pet Treats and had to make a couple more for my Sister's dogs and cats.  All I had were the medium dog biscuits left so I just made up these cute little guys, different punch art but just as adorable.  I may even use this pattern for next year!

Use the same punch art as for the doggie treats but made tags for kitty's!

Before I go, I also wanted to also share the apron I made for my Mother-In-Laws walker.  She said she would like to have something Breast Cancer related so I hooked her up, lol!  I mainly used my Cricut and my Wall Decor and More cartridge and a craft apron purchased at Hobby Lobby for this project, which made it super easy! For a better look click on the pic to see a closer view of the beautiful hot pink Glitter Paper I used, it's gorgeous!

Ok, folks until next time...which will probably be in 2014 so better say "Happy New Year" and  Happy Stampin!

Cards for Yvonne

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

On my last post (about 6 minutes ago!) I should have added the cards I made for my Sister's Mother In Law last week.  Once or twice a year she orders greeting cards from me and I found them on my camera and realized I didn't share, so here they are:  Just a note...a couple of the cards I cased exactly from the talented Ladies from the SU club I attend time to time.  Sorry, no time for breakdown on supplies used but email me if you're interested and I'll give you the information!

Until next time Folks, Happy Stampin!

Halloween and Birthday Cards

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

I've been busy, busy for the past couple of months not only making all my Craft Fair Goodies (I will be sharing real soon I promise!) but also helping out a friend who just moved her little bakery to our area's largest shopping community! I love baking and candy making so this is right up my alley and I am enjoying it so much! With that said, I have had little time to post to my blog but believe me "you've" been on my mind.  :O)

For right now though I wanted to share the Halloween Favor Bags I gave out to my Nephews and the Neighborhood children this year and a few cards I made lately for Birthday's. First up is the Birthday cards I made for my Hubby and my Step Daughter Jennifer.  Both are using punch art Hippo's I made using the SU Owl Builder Punch...they're so cute!

Next I wanted to share my Grandson Peyton's card.  He is growing up so fast and turns 13 this year, I can't believe it!  Since he plays Football and is going to the 2013 Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl in TN at the end of this month (so excited for him and his team!), I thought I would make a card using the colors of his uniform for the Bowl and throw in a little of the color from his regular uniforms and here's what I came up with:

Sweet!!! (Just like Peyton) The colors for the tournament are green and white but I also threw in a couple of orange stars to represent his regular green and orange colors.  Punches used were Large Heart Punch, 1 3/8 Circle and xtra lg Oval.  The face stamp is from the Everyday Character Faces from Peachy Keen, I love the mean looking one for this player.  hehe

Next I'm going to share the Favor Bags, the first batch I made was very time consuming and after I made about 8 of them it hit me WHY am I putting all this time (which I really didn't have) into little favor bags that will end up on the floorboard of the cars within seconds of opening...so I rethought the bags and came up with the second version, still cute as a button but a lot simpler!  Sorry no time to list supplies used but email me and I'll share!

Ok, until next time folks, Happy Stampin!

I'm Baaaack!

Ok, Stampers and Fellow Crafters, let's try this again! If you're just tuning in, my last post would not let me continue down the page for some reason (I'm sure I'm somehow responsible but just couldn't figure it out!), so this page is a continuation...

Next card I wanted to share is a very simple card I made for my Hubby's Aunt Betty.  Simple but very sweet.  I love it.  I first made this for a beginner class I was offering at my local community college.

I used the Mixed bunch stamp in a variety of colors, love the way it turned out.

Next card up is for my Brother In Law, Johnny.  For this card I used a retired stamp set "Party Hearty", very cute in primary colors.  You might also notice that I used versamark to give a watermark with a stamp from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.  My pics are kinda dark, and I apologize for that, I didn't take the time to go to my dining room for better lighting.

Ok, folks, gotta run, until next time...Happy Stampin'!

Sympathy Card for Sharon

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

I've been busy, busy this past month making all my Craft Fair Goodies, I won't share just yet but soon I promise!

For right now though I wanted to share a few cards I made this month for a few Birthday's and unfortunately for a dear friend who lost a love one.

First up is the sympathy card I may for my friend Sharon who lost her Brother a couple weeks back. I used two stamps sets in basic black, Thoughts & Prayers (my go to sympathy stamp) and Papillion Potpourri.  I stamped the smallest butterflies on to Daffodil Delight cardstock, I thought it was quite lovely with the black and white.  Here I also used the new Honeycomb embossing folder and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch.  Very pleased on how this turned out, just wish it was for another occasion.  :O(

Now, I have two more cards to show you but for some reason this blog entry will not let me add anything below my Sympathy card pic...so, I am going to end this post and just start another.  Be right back...

Papillon Potpourri Birthday Card

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

Today I want to share a card I made for my dear friend Lisa for her Birthday.  I really enjoyed making this card so much, I think it's very Elegant (hence the Elegant Butterfly Punch used)!  Unfortunately I took this picture while in my craft room so it's a bit dark but if you click on the pic it should enlarge enough to get a good idea on how the colors I chose go so well together.  (see card recipe below for details)

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb cake
  • Stamp Sets: Papillion Potpourri, Bring On the Cake
  • Inks: Craft White, Cherry Cobbler
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Tulip Embossing Folder, Elegant & Bitty Butterfly Punches, XL Oval Punch
  • Embellishments: Half Back Pearls (I think 3mm)

Ok, thanks for stopping by, gotta run, until next time folks...Happy Stampin!

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper crafters!

This morning I would like to share with you some sweet baby cards I made for several of the baby showers I have been invited to this month!  I cased the idea from Pinterest and would love to give credit to the original designer but unfortunately no name was listed.  So here you go, my version of her work:
I used Pretty in Pink CS and Baby Bundle stamp set (both of which are retired).  I used two different embossing folders on these cards the bib was made using the lattice folder and the onesie was made with the polka dot EF.  Too Cute!

Here's a close up of the Bib.  I stamped in E. Espresso on W White cs and used my blender pen with C Cake to add color.

This cute little boys version is adorable.  I used retired Bashful Blue cs and Pear Pizzazz ink, so cute!

Ok, folks until next time...Happy Stampin'!

Owl Birthday Card

Hello Stampers and Paper Crafters!

Today my Son-In-Law turned 31. For the occasion, to show our love, I made him cupcakes and a little gift basket full of his favorite things which included a bouquet made from five dollar bills! My Grandson Peyton (who's visiting for the week) was a big help in the craft room and helped design Greg's card.  We used the Owl builder punch from SU and for the most part card stock from the Brights Collection. The basket, which is actually a box I pull from under the bed (hehe), we wrapped in tissue paper and using the handy dandy E2 we made "Happy Birthday" to go on the sides.  We were very limited on ribbon in primary colors so...red, white and blue curling ribbon left over from the Fourth of July was used, I think it worked out pretty good!

As always, remember to click on pics for a closer look!

Here are all his goodies, the white box holds his vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, YUM!
Ok, until next folks...Happy Stampin!

Happy, Happy Day!

Hello Stampers and Fellow Paper Crafters!

First, let me begin by saying Happy 4th of July!  Now, I know most folks are out celebrating the holiday but my Hubby had to work so I found this to be the perfect time to do some extra housework.  Yea, fun! But, I did want to quickly share the card and gift I made for my little sister for her Birthday.

Since I'm not currently doing classes or workshops, I just didn't feel the need to do anything red, white and blue but the main reason was because I was busy, busy working on homemade chocolate cupcakes and a card and gift set up for my Sister Sheila, who turned 46 today!  Happy Birthday Sheila!!!

Here is the card and note pad holder I made for her, that's suppose to be a cowboy hat on the little owl there, but...I didn't quite pull it off, looks more like a farmer, hehe!

Card close up, amazing how that designer paper (NON SU) matches the pool party card stock perfectly!

Inside from Bring on the Cake stamp set!

SU clear stamp case made into a cute note pad holder

Left side has a pocket for receipts, there's a RSVP ink pen which I filled with the same designer paper (forgot to take a close up) and a 4 x 6 note pad

Different view of note pad holder just to give you a better idea of what I cute little gift this will be!

Ok, folks, gotta run, until next time, Happy Stampin!

Happy Father's Day!

Hello fellow Stampers and Paper Crafters!

It seems every time I sit down to post to my blog I have one foot out the door and have to just throw "IT" out there, but I did want to quickly share how I expressed "Happy Father's Day" to all the Dad's in my life, so of course the best way I could think of was to bake cakes and make cards to show my love!

I won't bore you with the cakes, although they look lovely and I'm sure are going to taste great AND it just hit me that apparently I never posted the Mother's Day card to Mom Perry, which means I probably never took a picture of it << heavy sigh >> anyway......here are my Father's Day Cards, not in any specific order since I love them all equally and dearly!  (Remember to click on pic for larger view)

Also, real, real quick I thought I would share another card I recently made for my neighbor who is getting married. As you may notice I didn't do a lot of bling, very simple but still very sweet!

Ok, gotta run folks, until next time...Happy Stampin!

Easter Blessings

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

Normally this time of year I would have been busy, busy having Classes and Workshops showcasing Easter Cards and Treat Holders and don't normally have time to make and send Easter cards out. This year since I have put classes on hold for a little while I thought I would make a few cards up and send out to a few immediate family members.

Below is my first attempt, using punch art to make a cross and using a little masking technique...too much work and I didn't really like the final products but thought I would post the pics at the very least.  :O)

Several days later and after much thought I decided to utilize the 4" paper doilies I purchased some weeks back and came up with this:

I simply adored these! Although there was still a little work involved; it was a rather simple process once I finished stamping the butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set in VersaMark onto Crumb Cake cardstock and began an assembly line. I hand punched the flag out of retired Blushing Bride using a 1 1/4" square punch, added the doily, then punched a Decorative Label from Perfect Plum. Add a little 5 petal flower punch and half back pearls and there you go!  Love it!

In closing today I wanted to share the sentiment that was inside my card, it read:

Sometimes we have to
lose something "Precious"
to gain something
"Priceless"!

I think that about says it all folks, I hope you have very Happy Easter, until next time...Happy Stampin!

St. Patrick's Day Anniversary

Hello Stampers and Fellow Paper Crafters!

My Hubby and I are "Lucky" enough to share our Wedding Anniversary with St. Patrick's Day. My Hubby jokes he planned it that way so he would never forget the day, but it was really just a happy coincidence. :O)

This year, instead of a card I did what I love to do the most and made him a favor to show how much he means to me.  I'm sure I saw something similar on Pinterest since this seems to be my "go to" place for ideas these days.

Close up of Bag Topper

Originally, I was going to just use Lucky Charms with some kind of gold wrapped candy or coins mixed in but...forgot to pick those up while I was out yesterday.  So, since time's a ticking and I wanted to get this finished and posted; I just improvised and filled a 6x8 cello bag with his favorite trail mix (which so happens to have M&M like candies in the colors of the rainbow) and threw in some lucky charms.  I cut the Topper, Cloud and Rainbow pieces with my Cricut and the Something to Celebrate cart. The rest is Punch Art using assorted SU punches, Cardstock and Glitter papers, love the Gold, the picture really doesn't show how much it "Glitters"!

Ok Folks, until next time...Happy Stampin!

Hostess Club Cards

Hello Stampers and Fellow Paper Crafters!

I hope you had a great weekend, I sure did!  I met Saturday with all the Ladies in the new Stampin' Club and  wanted to quickly share the cards I took with me.

First is the card I gave Karina, one of the members who was celebrating her birthday. I think I've made this card before but sold it among others to my dear friend from CA.  Here I used the adorable Cupcake Builder Punch for the Pretty in Pink CS w/ matching Ribbon in addition to Early Espresso DSP, I also used a retired Eyelet Border Punch for the bottom, too cute!

Next up are the the note cards I made to donate to Aamance Regional Cancer Center, I made two of each design.   Here I used my favorite masculine set The Open Sea ...
and here I used my all time favorite set Element of Style and the retired Greenhouse Garden set.

The next cards are my Swaps and our Challenges for this month.  I was going to share everyone's Swaps and photos but forgot to ask permission to post on my blog while I was there and will just make up for it next month.  :O) Anyway, here's my two challenges which were based off Connie Stewarts new Flash Card Techniques 1.0 and 2.0.   I myself, found these extremely "challenging" since I am not very creative on my own, basically a creative copier, if you want more details on the technique just check out Connie's blog!

And finally, here are my Swaps, I love this color combo, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Calypso Coral. If you click on the pics you can get a bigger view of our new Fancy Fan embossing folder.  I have to say this is becoming my favorite folder.

Well, that's it for right now folks, I hope to get my Anniversary/St. Patrick Card ready and posted before the end of the month, which would be great since I've had trouble getting more than one post a month in this year so far. Until then...Happy Stampin'!
