Baby Shower Gift ~ Diaper Cake

Hello fellow stampers and crafters:

My Sister Sheila and I are giving a Baby Shower for a friend this coming Sunday.  So I made the following Diaper Cake not only for the centerpiece but as Sarah's gift.  I used the little Giraffe from Fox and Friends stamp set along with Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo cardstock.  For the trim I used the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates and the Eyelet and Scallop Edge Border Punches...wish now that I had used Melon Mambo for the bottom trim, the white doesn't stand out quite as much as I would like.  I think it turned out real cute, I should probably remove the tag from the baby giraffe before giving, right?  :O)  As always, click on pic for a larger view.

Sorry a little dim, my camera wasn't set for auto flash!

Gotta run folks, have cupcake pics and favors yet to make and the clock is ticking...Happy Stampin!

And more cards...

Hello Stampers!

Over the weekend I finished the cards my Sister and her Hubby's Mom wanted me to make for them and just sent them out the door via my Hubby!  I used the stamp set "Elements of Style" more than once using Sincere Salutations Stamp Set and in different colors.  I told John I think this is the prettiest stamp set we sell!
Elements of Style used here, I so love this stamp set!!!
In Riding Hood Red and Early Expresso!

My very favorite in So Saffron, so pretty!
The Hummingbird card is also from the "Elements of Style" stamp set, don't you agree it's simply lovely!
This is from our Sale A Bration promotion, love the colors!
This is from a retired set called "Well Wishes" too cute!
My final card is from the "Just add cake" dsp we offer and the Pennant Punch.
Finally this is from the ribbon share I am doing for Club, took a little time to break all these spools down but I liked the final product!  If you're interested in participating in a share too email me with your order, I am  offering shares in most of the ribbon collections!

Till next time happy stamping!

Cards, Cards and more Cards!

Hello fellow Stampers and Crafters!

It;s been a week or so since my last post.  Been very busy making cards, some were invites for a Baby Shower my Sister and I are given her neighbor Sarah, some were invites for a Easter class I'm giving (although I didn't take pics of these), one for my Brother-In-Law Robert's Birthday and finally some are for my Sister Lisa and her Mother-In-Law Yvonne who asked that I make some assorted cards for them to give this year.  Here are pics of them all, sorry to just throw them out all together but I simply don't have time to make separate post for each project since I've gotta run I just had a Stampin UP! order come in that I must process and about 20 more cards to make!   Check out the pics below and have a good day!

VALENTINE'S

Hello my fellow Stampers and Crafters,

Here are my final postings for Valentines 2012.  First is my last Valentine Daycare Class where they made the same card as some of my adult classes using the retired stamp set " Have a Heart".  For Treats we made a cute little Tootsie Pop Butterfly along with an adorable candy I-Pod.  I found both these ideas online off a Family Fun website.  So cute!!!  Unfortunately I only got one pic of the kids working, I became so involved I set down my camera not thinking of it again until I was cleaning up, this happens to me a lot...which is why I don't do more scrapbooking, hehe!

 Finished work of Arts!

Now for the cards and little gifts I gave to my loved ones!  First are the cards and Stover Chocolate hearts boxes which I gave to the "Kids".  For the boys I left the boxes as is since they were already cute but for the girls I altered by applying thin red metal sheeting which I had ran through a embossing folder with the big shot. Adding black Organza ribbon with a silver heart trinket ~ Lovely ~  Then, I made cards using a punch art Valentine Bee I cased with very little change from mafercreations. Too cute!!!

Jen and Peyton's card inside & out and candy

Kim and Greg's Card is only slightly different

This is my Sweetie's Card.  I would like to say I was creative enough to come up with this concept on my own but I didn't, there are hundreds of Owls sitting in the moonlight out there but most are for Halloween and in Black and Blue themes.  Real Red seemed appropriate here, I kinda I liked it for Valentines, what do you think?  After all was said in done, I wish I had left room so that it could have read as "My" Love, but oh well, I think he liked it just the same.

Ok, guys that's it until next time...

Valentine Cards and Favors

Hello fellow Paper Crafters and Stampers!  I have been so busy lately with Valentine Classes and wanted to share our projects with you!

This first card layers Whisper White, Regal Rose and Rose Red card stock.  I used Regal Rose Ink for the "I {Love} Love Jumbo Wheel stamp.  The Owl Builder, Heart to Heart and Small Heart punches were used in addition to the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die to create this sweet little card!

These next projects showcase my Build a Bears which I used for Patricia Filyaws Daycare class.  We really had blast and the girls really love dressing up their Bears!  The card in the center is from a Retired Stamp Set called "Have a Heart", and think I liked this card so much I may give it to my Sweetie for "V" Day!!!  The little Treat Holders (Favors) were made using the Sizzix Pillow Box die and clear window sheets and Real Red CS.  If you click on the pic you can also see a close up of  the little Heart Treat Cup we carry with M&M's, so cute!!!
Below on the left is a matchbook favor, the one in the back center is actually an envelope sealed, about 1 3/4' cut off the top and sent through my crimper.  On the far left the sweet little box is from the Sizzix Matchbox die and assorted Heart punches.  Can you see the cute little mailbox my upline Leader Linda Fisher gave me using cardstock and Hershey Nuggets, too cute!!!  And finally, the last two are M&M's in a 1x8 cello bag and a Tootsie Pop Flower.
Ok, gotta run, I still have my family to make Valentines for and will post them as soon as I finish!  Have a good evening and Happy Stampin!
