Father's Day Weekend Pics!

Hello Stampers and Fellow Paper Crafters!

I don't normally post too much personal on my blog, but just wanted to share some photos from this past week and weekend. We had a great time! My Dad came in on Wednesday morning and left out on Monday.  I have posted several pics of our time together at the lake with my sister Sheila and our BBQ dinner on Father's Day where we invited our neighbors and my Mom & Dad Perry to join us!

Daddy and Sheila soaking up the rays, the lake was simply gorgeous that day!

If you look real hard you can see two Bald Eagles up in the trees!

They're there I promise...

Crafting Station is FINISHED!!!

Hello Stampers and fellow Paper Crafters!

This past week and weekend was great!  Not only did I get to spend time with my Dad and my Hubby but my sweet Husband also finished my Crafting Station!  I've attached pics below.

Finished Station

Almost finished!

Another view...should put something on that corkboard, huh?

Make shift cutting station, I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do this.  Need to store not only cardstock but cutting dies in this space...and have a good flat surface for paper cutter and BigShot.

Other side of Craft Room is actually what is left of my Home Office...Hubby use to have his own desk here, all that's left is his chair.  hehe

BAB Birthday Card for Little Kim

Hello Fellow Stampers and Paper Crafters!

Today I wanted to share a card I made today for a sweet little girl who is turning 3.  I used the retired Build A Bear Die with the accessories die for clothing and a purse.  Too cute!  I wish they had not retired this set but that's ok, I still plan to use it in my Daycare and Mommy & Me classes!

Would write more but gotta run folks, my Dad just got into town and is staying with us until Monday and I better go spend time with him and Sophie (his sweet Scottie)!

Ok, until next time Happy Stampin!

Crafting at Patty's Daycare - Father's Day Crafts

Hello fellow Stampers and Crafters,

We had so much fun this morning at Patty's Daycare making a cute Father's Day card and treat using the now retired stamp set "Under the Stars".  I so love this stamp set and find so many uses for it especially for all those men in our lives...unfortunately I forgot to take my camera the class (I do these classes on location) so I have no pics of these cuties making their treats and cards.  However, I do have my samples which I will post!

Gift Set includes:  Card, Smores and handmade Gift Bag made from a lunch sack!

 Close up of Card

Ok, folks...until next (should have pics of updated craft room by then) Happy Stampin'!

Craft Room Make Over Update

Hello fellow Stampers and Paper Crafters,

I feel bad that I have not posted an update on my Craft Room make over lately, so I thought I would quickly post some pics...we have finished repairing, painting and installing the cabinets we purchased a few weeks back from our Habitat for Humanity Resale store.  My sweet Hubby has installed a beautiful ceiling fan and added some additional shelving to the 6 foot shelves I once had (Sorry, no pics yet)  and I still would like to find a old 6 drawer dresser to refurbish to use for my cutting station, so once I find it and get my curtain rods up for my paper punches I will post the finished room!

Here are the pics I have so far...

Sympathy Cards for My Sis

Hello fellow Stampers and Paper Crafters!

My Sister asked that I please make a few sympathy cards for her and I pulled my favorite stamp set for such an occasion...Thoughts and Prayer which I am so glad carried over to the 2013 catalog!

Here I used Early Espresso and Rose Red card stock in addition to the Scallop Trim Border punch, Oval Scallop punch and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

In this card I used several tools, the Framed Tulips EF, XL Oval, Scallop Oval and Modern Label Punches with Sahara Sand, Early Espresso and Always Artichoke card stock.

For my final card I used Perfect Plum and Sahara Sand CS, the Framed Tulip EF and some adorable butterflies I cut with my handy dandy Big Shot and Beautiful Wings Embosslit.  Instead of the stamp set I used for the other two cards I decided to use the vine from the Elements of Style set which is also being carried over to the new catalog! Unfortuately the sentiment "Thinking of You" from the stamp set Sincere Salutations will not be in the new catalog...sniff!  I guess I'll have to find another one to use for my Workshops but I love this one so much I'm sure to still use it for my classes and commissioned work.

Ok, until next time...Happy Stampin'!

More Photos from Relay for Life 2012

Hello fellow Stampers and Paper Crafters!

I wanted to share just a few more pics from Relay for Life 2012.   I found these on my Daughter's facebook page, she did a much better job of picture taking than me...which is why she's great at Scrapbooking and me not so much!

Until next time...
